Word is, one of these dolls weighs 400lb less at max trim than even the current gen. So getting one of these would still count as simplifying and adding lightness, right?

A friend of mine had one of those in high school....There wasn't enough gas in the world to keep that thirsty bitch satisfied....I think I may still be jealous of them for having that car. WHO CARES IF YOU COULDN'T SEE OUT OF THE BACK WINDOW!

Strategerally, there's enough room back there to get nekkid in company and look up at the stars, right? That's the best reason for the back window anyway.

Indeed. Win is to be had, and if one must have a Fatstang, might as well be one off the hook emissions/engine choice wise and gloriously 70s.

it absolutly baffles me as to why this thing wasn't a liftback I'd be so much more useful. there is like 10 square feet of space that is 100% unusable in the back of this thing.

Time to modify the seats to fold differently and make it happen, then. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

There was a '72 in my area that was pretty complete like a month ago on Craigslist. I don't have a good excuse to get one until I'm done with the Ranchero and two more Land Rovers, but maybe I can convince my younger brother to get one...
